Morning All
Well have had the worse chest infection which has put me out of action for 3 weeks, but on the mend now, so I thought I would make a box for a candle that I bought some time ago. It is for a friend who loves succulents, so I had to make this with the gorgeous papers that are now retired, but as I love them so much needed to use them.
I made the box using Wild Wasabi card stock, the measurements are
BASE BOX: 8" x 4" - on the long side scored at 1/2" 3 3/4" 4 1/4" 7 1/2 "
on the short side scored at 1/2" and 3 1/2"
I cut out a circle that fits my candle
WRAP: 115/8" x 3 1/2" score on the long side at 2 11/16" 7 1/16" 10 3/16"
DSP: 3 1/4 x 5/8" 3 1/4 x 4 1/8" 3 1/4" x 2 1/2"
I glued the base box inside the wrap and then cut out an Oval to make my label, I also heat embossed the sentiment with white and added a little bow. The sentiment is also from an older set called Really Good Greeting.
I used a little magnet for the closure, can fussy cut one of the flowers from the DSP to hide it.
I took the idea from lots of inspiration on Pinterest and You Tube and used my own measurements to accommodate my little candle.
Thanks as always for looking.
