Watering Can Measurements

Hi Everyone

Well I have been asked to share the watering can tutorial with you.  I have put the measurements below hope they are ok for you all

Start with a piece of card stock that measures 8 3/4 x 8"

On the 8 3/4 side score at 2 7/8 and 5 7/8
on the 8" side score at 2 7/8 and 5 1/8"

Turn back to the 8 3/4 " side and from the first score line make a notch of 3/8" after the line at the top and bottom and the turn 180 degrees and do the same on the other side, draw a pencil line from the notch to the middle these become your cutting lines.  I just cut the corners off leaving a half inch for the side tabs and took a slight notch out of them.

For the Handles I used two oval dies and then scored and cut as per below.  Cut two of these glue together and open up the score lines to glue to the box.

For the spout I used a piece of card that measured 1 1/4 x 2 1/2
I notched first at 1/4 Then at 1 1`/4 on the 2 1/2 inch side just so I could get where the spout started to shape then I cut and shaped the rest. remember to cut 2 of these as well to glue together then open the score lines to glue to the box.

I hope this helps in some way

Have fun thanks for looking

Craft Fair #3

Hi Everyone

Hope your day is going really well, it has suddenly gone very cold here, think we might actually have some winter.

Well tonight I have created these little watering cans as Mothers Day Gift Boxes

How sweet are these, I have done a variety of colours again using all my scraps.

I have used the Daisy punch from Stamping Up! and the Teeny Tiny Sentiments.

Each daisy has a bling centre with pearls or crystals, and I have added some tissue paper to

As always thanks for looking hope you enjoy and get inspired along the way.

Craft Fair #2

Hi Everyone

Well today I am bringing you a CASED idea from @rejoiceandcreate.

I love this idea and it holds a little Ghiradelli square. I bought some of the Christmas ones when I was in Florida in November and so I am using them up, one to stop me eating more LOL!. The part of the tutorial I didn't do on mine was the score lines to make the top look like a lid, I just left mine blank.

I have been using up all my scraps and have used mostly Stampin Up! DSP, I used the Jar of Love and Cool Treats stamps sets.  I also used some ribbon from my stash.  I hope you agree these are just adorable.

As always thanks so much for looking

Craft Fair Ideas #1

Hi everyone

Well I am going to do my first craft fair at the end of February, so I have decided for the next week or so to post all the things that I will be making and selling, again using everything I already have in  my craft room.

Today's little project are some small note books cover with glitter and the Magical Day DSP from Stampin Up!

I have created about 10 of these and used the reverse of the dsp to make the bag topper and just cut out a 1" circle punch of the paper.  I love glitter anything and tend to hoard the papers it but its time to let go.... LOL

Thanks as always for looking.

Mother's Day Card

Morning everyone

Hope your day is wonderful, well today I have done another sketch using Operation Write Home #155

I have been using all my scraps recently as I seem to have more of them everyday, so this years challenge to myself is to use them all.

I used some DSP from Stamping up with a sentiment I had in my stash also some paper roses.  I also used an embossing folder on the stitched oval.

I have also been trying to teach myself backgrounds in Photoshop Elements..........  I am not at all technical LOL

Anyway thanks for looking.
